Great Britain wins the Solomon Trophy 2025 [GB vs USA Test]

Team GB won the Association Croquet Test Match against the USA, with Stephen Mulliner winning the final game as dusk approached the Budleigh Salterton Lawns.

First played in 1987 the Solomon Trophy is a bi-annual test match played between the GC and USA teams. The event often witnesses close matches from some of the most talented players in the world.

The 2025 tournament was closely fought, all coming down to the final game of the final match, between Stephen Mulliner (GB) and Stephen Morgan (USA). Having been World Champion in 2016 and this being his 12th appearance in the GB team, Stephen Mulliner has a wealth of experience and used it to see the team through to the winning line.

The matches were livestreamed through the Croquet England YouTube channel which is now becoming increasingly popular, gaining 120 new subscribers over the past two days whilst the event was being shown.
