England hosts the Association Croquet World Team Championships
The Association Croquet World Team Championships is a three-tier event. Tier 2 and 3 will be hosted by Nottingham Croquet Club, starting on Wednesday 22nd July 2027. The Tier 1 teams will begin their competition on Friday 24th July at Roehampton Club and Hurlingham Club.
The World Team Championships is competed for every 4 years, and England are the current holders of the MacRobertson Shield, last contested in 2022.
Croquet is opening its doors to spectators at all locations to encourage more people to find out what the sport has to offer. Entry is free at all clubs hosting the event and there will be players and officials waiting to introduce themselves and offer commentary. Every day of the event at all locations is open to spectators.
Join Andy Dalby-Welsh, Chief Executive of Croquet England and Alison Maugham, Croquet England Communications, at Surbiton Croquet Club on Wednesday 5th August and Sunday 9th August who will be hosting two days of Pimms and Play alongside the final test match of the event. Tier 1
Teams: England, USA, New Zealand, Australia
Series 1: 24-28 July Roehampton & Hurlingham
Series 2: 30 July -3 August Sussex County Croquet Club
Series 3: 5-9 August Surbiton Croquet Club

The England Team, sponsored by Alliance Witan, have now been announced as the top seed for the tournament, where they will begin their campaign by playing the fourth seed team, Australia. USA (second seed) will compete against New Zealand (third seed) in the first series.
