Croquet England announces team selection: England v Spain GC Test Match 2026
Congratulations to Euan Burridge, Callum Johnson, J-P Moberly (Team Captain), Stephen Mulliner, Tobi Savage and Aston Wade who have been selected to play in the 6th England v Spain test match, Bowdon Croquet Club 19-21 June 2026.
Last year the test match was held at the Tambre Golf & Croquet Club in Spain, where Spain took the title with 16 match wins to England’s 11. The tournament, which is now a closely fought match each year, brings together some of the top players in the world.
England will be starting with a strong team, which includes J-P Moberly as team captain. Having only played 7 ranked games in 2025, but winning six of them, he will lead the team at Bowdon Croquet Club. Strong favourite for the singles events throughout the 2026 season, Euan Burridge, who is the current European Champion, will once again showcase his power and precision.
Croquet England have scheduled this event as part of their Livestreaming programme for the coming season. The full details of the broadcast will be shared nearer to the event.
