A fabulous competition croquet set: includes George Wood Discovery croquet mallets and Croquet England competition hoops, (supplied in their own canvas bag). The Croquet England Discovery Premium Set is made for the connoisseur who appreciates fine equipment and is serious about the game.
Unless otherwise requested all mallets are supplied with an overall weight of 3.00 lbs and measuring 36 inches and 9 1/4″ heads. The mallets have lightweight carbon fibre handles with foam grips in a choice of the following colours, (all blue, All red, all mustard, blue & mustard, red & mustard or red, blue & mustard). They have weighted Sheesham hardwood heads with Tufnol end plates and an inlaid sight line The set comes packaged in a solid pine chest.
Supplied with croquet hoops meeting Croquet England tournament standards. Made from solid steel with turned carrots and 3/4″ uprights. Powder coated for a smooth hard wearing finish. Each set of six comes packed in a canvas bag. The uprights are 3 11/16″ apart. A set of 6 weighs 17 kilos.
Every set carries a colour laminated rules sheet with some tips and tactics, plus a GC rules and AC laws book.
All components are guaranteed against breakage in the course of reasonable use and care.
